Patricia Langa, choreographer since she was a student at Rambert School, she is fuelled by a passion for unveiling untold stories and highlighting overlooked historical figures. Committed to connecting diverse individuals and giving the space to express themselves, she seeks to make the language of contemporary dance more accessible, using humour, theatre and queer performance elements like drag and lip-sync.
Her vibrant Spanish energy is a defining feature of her work and has led to innovative projects such as Cabrolé!, a flamenco-inspired artistic and community initiative supported by Arts Council England and Instituto Cervantes London, and her short film QUEEROLÉ!, which was presented at V&A East in October 2025 as part of Focus On: Torrijos Ceiling.
Inspired by her collaborations with Corali Dance Company, Thick & Tight, and Gary Clarke Company, Patricia is a passionate advocate for inclusivity and for breaking down barriers in dance and beyond.
Throughout her career, Patricia has choreographed her own works and taken on diverse commissions such as Chewy She’s Moth Popera.
She is also the co-founder of the queer-punk dance duo Parma Violence with Sean Alexander Murray.
